Rogue Israel: OPE & 10 years blockade & daily crimes in Gaza

Só de outubro de 2015 a julho de 2016, Israel assassinou 218 palestinos na Cisjordânia e feriu 17.072 gravemente.



Há dois anos, nesta época, começou  a criminosa Operation Protective Edge na Faixa de Gaza. Antes dela, Israel já fizera três operações militares de porte similar, sem contar os crimes "banais" de genocídio a médio prazo através do bloqueio e da "dieta" sem proteinas a que submete a Faixa de Gaza.
Sem contar a impunidade pelos crimes contra a imunidade, apesar da queixa formal feita pela Palestina no ICC.
Desde a OPE em 2014, Israel não cumpriu seu compromisso, o bloqueio continua, o aeroporto e o porto não foram construídos e os ataques esporádicos, quando não diários, da IDF, continuam matando gazauís noite e dia.
O blog de hoje é para marcar a data e atualizar a situação na Faixa e um pouquinho na Cisjordânia, com artigos de colegas e vídeos.

Até agora, cerca de 40 crianças palestinas foram mortas pelas bombinhas que a Força Aérea israelense jogou durante a OPE em 2014.

Doaa Yasseeen, de 11 anos, sobreviveu, mas perdeu a mão, enquanto outros meninos perdem este ou outros membros do corpo.
No ano passado, Doaa encontrou um objeto estranho no caminho da escola, no canto da estrada, e o pegou, por curiosidade. Mais tarde, a bombinha deixada pelos israelenses explodiria em sua mão arrrancando-a.
"Pensei que fosse um brinquedo".
Pois é, o formato é justamente para induzir meninos a este erro.
Doaa, como outros tantos meninos palestinos que sobrevivem a este e outros traumas provocados pela ocupação israelense e seus crimes, está tentando adaptar-se à nova vida seguindo terapia física e psicológica. As sessões ajudam os meninos a recuperar auto-confiança para enfrentar o futuro, incerto, até cair a próxima bomba ou pisarem em uma outra bombinha.

Ben White: Five reasons why Gaza is still Under blockade.
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim claimed last week that Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip had been “largely lifted” as part of the newly-inked reconciliation deal between Israel and Turkey.
The normalisation of Turkish-Israeli relations, six years after Israeli forces killed 10 Turkish citizens aboard a ship bound for Gaza, will see Ankara deliver humanitarian aid to the fenced-in enclave, as well as “build a 200-bed hospital, a housing project and a desalination plant in Gaza” – though “under the condition that materials go through the Israeli port of Ashdod first.”
Unfortunately, none of this constitutes a lifting of the blockade. No amount of aid can alter the core elements of the Israeli-imposed restrictions on the Gaza Strip and its 1.8 million inhabitants. So here are five ways in which the blockade remains unaltered.
1. Restrictions on what enters Gaza.
A weekly average of 2,145 truckloads have entered the Gaza Strip in 2016 (almost half of it construction materials), 76 percent of the pre-blockade figure. Israel maintains an “extensive” list of ‘dual-use’ items, including items “whose use is overwhelmingly civilian and critical for civilian life.” Reconstruction after Israel’s 2014 offensive has made slow progress; it was only in October last year that the first home was rebuilt, and some 90,000 Palestinians remain displaced.
2. Restrictions on goods exiting Gaza.
The exit of goods from the Gaza Strip for sale either abroad, or, more importantly, in the enclave’s key markets of the West Bank and Israel, remains highly restricted. In the week of June 14-20, for example, just 26 truckloads of goods left, a mere one tenth of pre-blockade levels. Last year, a senior World Bank official said that Israel’s blockade and the 2014 war had meant that “Gaza’s exports virtually disappeared” (he’s not exaggerating – exports fell 97 percent between 2007 and 2012).
3. Restrictions on the movement of people – including to and from the West Bank.
Even after ‘concessions’ made by Israel after ‘Operation Protective Edge’, the rate of travel at Gaza’s Israeli-controlled Erez crossing is still just 3 percent of the figures in September 2000. Moreover, Israel continues to prevent Palestinian families visiting each other, and studying in West Bank universities is off-limits for Palestinian students in Gaza. Israeli permit-holders are thusprimarily a restricted number of “medical and other humanitarian cases, merchants, and aid workers.”
4. Israeli forces’ attacks on fishermen and farmers.
Israeli occupation forces continue to routinely attack Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially fishermen at sea, and farmers working their land near the border fence. Just since Monday, Israeli forces have opened fire at Palestinian fishermen and (twice) at farmers. Between June 7-20, according to UN figures, Israeli forces opened fire at Palestinians in these so-called ‘Access Restricted Areas’ at land and sea on 32 separate occasions.
5. Egypt keeps the Rafah door shut.
While Israel controls almost all of the Gaza Strip’s crossings (and is the occupying power), the Egyptian authorities play a key role in maintaining the chokehold on Gaza. This week, Egyptopened the Rafah crossing for five days, in both directions, but this is the exception, rather than the rule. For example, in the UN’s update for April – a month in which the Rafah crossing was closed entirely – it was recorded that the crossing had been closed since October 24, 2015, “except for 42 days.”
In conclusion. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said in Gaza last week that “the closure of Gaza…is a collective punishment for which there must be accountability.” Many Palestinians, however, see the UN – and perhaps now Turkey – as helping Israel to “administer the siege rather than challenging its continuation.” Sadly, in terms of its impact on the ground, the Turkey-Israel deal appears to be “more noteworthy for what it doesn’t achieve than what the agreement actually entails.”


It has been two years since Israel launched Operation Protective Edge, its mots recent military offensive on Gaza.
Palestinians living in the strip continue to live with the conséquences of that attack everyday.
Tens of thousands of homes were destroyed or damaged.
Reconsctruction is painfully slow, with the United nations taking more than a year to rebuild the first bombed out home.
That is partly because of the Israeli blockade, no in its tenth year.
Israel's hasbara says the blockade of Gaza is necessary to stop the movement of weapons and rocke making material. And that it allows "some" humanitaria aid in.
The United Nations says the blockade constitutes an illegal form of collective punishment.

Na semana passada, um dos criminosos de guerra israelenses, Tzipi Livni, um dos ministros responsáveis pelo massacre em Gaza na Operação Cast Lead em 2018/09, levou um susto em sua visita à Inglaterra.
A célebre Scotland Yard mandou um "convite" à embaixada de Israel para que ela fosse  à polícia prestar depoimento em relação a acusação contra ela de crimes de guerra. Ela recusou o convite e depois, sob pressão política, a polícia inglesa foi obrigada a fechar o processo. O lobby sionista tem bracos largos em Londres, como em todas as capitais ocidentais.
Apesar da corrupção ideologico-financeira dos governos, há muitos ativistas que defendem os palestinos em toda oportunidade. Sobretudo em Londres. Dezenas marcaram o aniversário fatídico da OPE na porta da casa do primeiro ministro. Dozens of Pro-Palestine activists gathered to a protest outside the gates of Downing Street in London, Friday.



Nesse ínterim, uma menina palestina de 10 anos foi presa por "corajosos" soldados da IDF, que acabaram sendo obrigados a levar a mãe com ela porque viram câmeras interncionais filmando.
A detenção aconteceu após uns colonos-fascistas-judeus-mirins terem alegado que ela jogou pedras neles quando estavam azucrinando a vida dela e de seus amiguinhos.

A message from the Palestinian BDS National Committee, the broadest coalition of Palestinian civil society organisations that leads the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement for Palestinian rights.
Two years ago today, Israel began a brutal military attack on Palestinians in Gaza in which more than 2,300 Palestinians were killed and 100,000 people were displaced.
Israel deliberately attacked entire civilian areas in Gaza and inflicted as much human suffering as it could. The UN and human rights organisations have documented Israel’s war crimes during the massacre.
Gaza has just entered its tenth year of siege, a policy described by Israeli historian Ilan Pappe as “incremental genocide.” The siege has almost entirely prevented meaningful reconstruction since the 2014 attack.
As Abdulrahman Abunahel, our coordinator in Gaza, puts it “One of my worries is that the longer Israel maintains its siege of the world’s largest open-air prison, the more the official international community adapts and accepts Israel’s gradual and deliberate reduction of Gaza into an uninhabitable prison camp where close to 2 million Palestinians face slow death.”
“But as a refugee living in Gaza, it is not enough to just call for the end to Israel’s siege. We need to keep growing our BDS campaigns until the Palestinian people can exercise our right to self-determination, including the right of refugees to return home.”

Israel is able to carry out its brutal military attacks and repress Palestinian popular resistance with impunity. As our Links that Kill fact sheet sets out, Israel is only able to do this because of the massive weapons trade and military cooperation, including research, it maintains with countries across the world.
Over the period 2009-2018, the US is providing military aid to Israel worth $30bn. EU arms exports to Israel during 2014 alone were worth over $1bn (mostly from Germany) and its armsimports from Israel reached a whopping $1.6 bn in 2015.
While India, Colombia and Brazil remain among the top importers of Israeli weapons, it has been recently revealed that Israel has supplied weapons that were used in committing crimes against humanity in Rwanda and South Sudan, among others.
Israel uses its criminal attacks on Palestinians to test its military technology and then exports its weapons as “field tested”. Up to 85% of Israel’s military industry production is exported and 60% of the world’s drones are manufactured by Israel.
Israel is not just oppressing Palestinians – it is exporting its ruthless model of securitization and militarized repression to the world. From the streets of Ferguson to the favelas of Rio to theborders of Fortress Europe, Israeli weapons and ruthless techniques are used to maintain oppression.

Turquia re-pactua com o Diabo

Israel and Turkey reach deal to restore ties 

Na semana passada, Turquia e Israel reataram os laços quebrados em 2010 por causa do assassinato de dez ativistas turcos em águas internacionais no litoral da Faixa de Gaza.
Binyamin Netanyahu ofereceu compensação financeira às familias dos ativistas assassinados, contanto que retirassem a queixa que deram dos assassinos em tribunais nacionais e internacionais.
As familias rejeitaram a condição. Erdogan ficou com cara de bobo. O problema com gente que super-valoriza o dinheiro é que não consegue entender que há coisas muito mais importantes na vida, como por exemplo, a justiça.
Por outro lado, no mesmo dia do acordo, Vladimir Putin recebeu uma carta do presidente da Turquia Tayyip Erdogan que exprimia suas "deep condolences" fingidas, à família do piloto russo executado na fronteira com a Síria, após seu avião ter sido derrubado, no dia 24 de novembro de 2015. Na carta Erdogan prometia a Putin fazer "everything possible' para restabelecer suas relações com a Rússia.
Esta foi uma das condições sine qua non impostas por Tel Aviv - louca para ter apoio de Moscou em seus crimes. Há outras condições, mas o petróleo é a primordial.
Erdogan acedeu logo porque a economia turca ficou estrangulada desde que fez a besteira de indispor-se com seu maior parceiro econômico.
A condição da Turquia foi a compensação financeira às famílias dos ativistas que a IDF executou em 2010 no litoral de Gaza.
Esta iniciativa de Erdogan se deve à pressão da elite político-financeira turca, que não difere da brasileira, de "fazer amizades" e acalmar adversários. No propósito único de fazer negócios, não em benefício comum e sim em benefício próprio.
Pois mesmo os problemas estarem sendo resolvidos no papel, é difícil que o povo acolha Netanyahu, este "novo ex-amigo", com os braços abertos como acolhe Putin, o amigo estremecido.
Fala-se que esta viravolta na política externa da Turquia deve-se à demissão de um único homem - Ahmet Davutoglu - ministro das relações exteriores e arquiteto da política externa do país nos últimos dez anos. O ex-primeiro ministro era fortíssimo no governo e foi encostado em um cargo inexpressivo também por isso.
Em parte, o afastamento de Davutoglu do cargo de ministro e da presidência do partido no poder, AK, contribuiu para a mudança. Porém, outros turcos influentes aderiram à sua visão megalomaníaca do destaque que ele queria para a Turquia no cenário internacional.
Esta política vem sendo incrementada na Turquia desde que o AK conquistou o poder em 2002 e é comum ouvir em Ankara a frase "the world is bigger than five", em referência aos cinco países membros do Conselho de Segurança das Nações Unidas.
Davutoglu era mais eloquente do que os demais, mas a visão turco-islâmica-dominante, saudosista do império otomano, não era só dele.
Por isso ou por causa disso, a política externa da Turquia vai continuar mudando, mas será por necessidade contextual, internacional e doméstica.
A aliança com Israel é também uma imposição da Casa Branca. Assim como a aproximação dos Emirados Árabes e as iniciativas de aproximação do general Sissi, ditador do Egito patrocinado pelos Estados Unidos. O discurso de Erdogan na reunião de cúpula anual da  OIC - Organisation for Islamic Cooperation. mostrou que seu  pragmatismo não tem nenhum limite moral.
Com o desmoronamento da Síria, a posição de liderança regional ficou vaga. A Turquia quer ocupá-la. Sem contestar o status quo de Israel e sua limpeza étnica nos territórios palestinos ocupados. Erdogan quer ser convidado à mesa dos líderes ocidentais custe o que custar. O importante é ter o apoio dos EUA e dos ditadores árabes.
Putin perdoa, diplomaticamente, mas não esquece. Erdogan sabe que apesar de ter pedido desculpas, foram tardias, e as relações com a Rússia demorarão a ser como antes. Se voltarem a ser, um dia. 
Portanto, apesar das construções que Erdogan vem patrocinando em Gaza - uma gota em um mar de necessidades - são para tapar o sol com a peneira. Para seus eleitores não questionarem porquê ele não ataca a raiz do problema. Ou seja, a ocupação israelense da Palestina.
Não reclama por duas razões.
A primeira é porque Erdogan é mais próximo da extrema direita do que do centro e também é criminoso de guerra. Prova disso é o que faz com os kurdos e o que seus antepassados fizeram com os armênios - um genocídio que até hoje a Turquia se recusa a admitir e redimir-se.  Portanto, o presidente da Turquia está mais perto do exterminador Netanyahu do que de Marwan Barghouti, democrata e gente fina demais para seu agrado.
A segunda razão é que Israel é o melhor mascate do planeta. É um camelô espertinho, mau-caráter mesmo. Desses que destrói a mercadoria da banca vizinha, escondido, e depois, "pesaroso", oferece sua mercadoria a preço alto para o vendedor desfalcado.
No caso da Turquia, como da Grécia, uma das mercadorias é a ameaça do tal "terrorismo".
Semeia tempestade além da Linha Verde e de suas fronteiras e depois, quando o furacão devasta outras paragens, oferece proteção da IDF, do Mossad e seu arsenal de armas regulares, químicas e nucleares, É mesmo incrível como consegue enganar os vizinhos que explora, despreza e dos quais escarninha em Tel Aviv, Nas reuniões bilaterais, os israelenses são só sorrisos.
E o petróleo em tudo isso? Ah, o petróleo que Israel surrupia dos palestinos descaradamente e negocia como se fosse proprietário.
Falsidade pouca é bobagem. Igual, só a dos gringos.
Mas como sou uma otimista incorrigível, até agora, espero que Erdogan se dobre à pressão popular e realmente faça algo por Gaza, e pela Palestina inteira. Inclusive na ONU e junto aos países árabes.
Sonhar não custa.

Como a memória geral é normalmente falha, eis abaixo um recapitulativo dos atentados em território turco desde janeiro de 2015, em ordem retroativa. Está em inglês porque os emails que recebi estavam em línguas estrangeiras. A maioria é por causa da política repressiva interna e as perseguições às minorias étnicas, religiosas e políticas. O que não justifica a violência, mas explica.

28/06: Istanbul, Ataturk Airport.. 41 killed - 239 injured. Attackers reportedly tried to penetrate the control point coming into the airpot. Security personnel then opened fire to neutralise the attackers who then detonated their explosives, authorities said.
There was no immediate claim for the attack. Blames on Daesh/ISIS
13/06: Tunceli, Ovacik. 9 injured. The explosion happened near a housing block for civil servants. 
Extreme left wing HBP claimed responsibility.
08/06: Mardin, Midyat. 6 killed - 20 injured.
A car bomb exploded near a police station in a region where government forces are batting Kurdish separatists. PKK claimed responsibility.
07/06: Istanbul, Beyazit. 11 killed - 36 injured. Explosion happened near a metro station on the Grand Bazar. TAK claimed responsibility.
19/05: Gaziantep. A suspected Daesh member blew himself up during a police raid.
10/05: Diyarbakir, Baglar. 3 killed - 45 injured.
An armoured police van carrying inmates and policemen was struck in the centre of the city.
PKK claimed.
01/05: Gaziantep. 2 killed - 22 injured. A vehicle blew up near the city's main police station. Assailants also fired automatic weapons.No claim. Blamed on Daesh.
27/04. Bursa. 13 injured. Female suicide bomber is believed to have targeted woprshippers at the city Grad Mosque. TAK claimed responsibility.
31/03: Diyarbakir. 7 killed - 27 injured. The explosion hit a police vehicle near a busy bus terminal.
PKK claimed responsibility.
20/03: Istanbul, Istiklal street. 5 killed - 27 injured. Suicide bomber hit a shopping district where a lot of pedestrians were miling around. No claim of responsibility. Blamed on Daesh.
13/03: Ankara. 37 killed - 70 injured. The second explosion in the capital within weeks set several cars on fire, created a shower of debris and was heard miles away.  KTAK claimed responsibility. 
17/02: Ankara. 28 killed - 61 ijured. During rush hour, a large explosion targeted a military vehicle with people inside. Kurdistan Freedom Haws - TAK claimed responsibility.
14/01: Diyarbakir. 6 killed - 39 injured. A car bomb went off near a police station in the kurdish majority procince. Nearby, houses with civilians inside were also hit with rocket attacks and gunfire. PKK claimed responsibility.
12/01: Istanbul, Sultanahmet. 10 killed - 15 injured. A suicide bomber blex himself up in a square popular cith tourists. No claim of responsibility. Blamed on Daesh.
2015
23/12: Istanbul, Sabina Gökcen International airport. 1 injured. A cleaner was working on a Pegasus Airline plane when a blast went off. It is unclear if it was a bomb. Kurdistan Freedom Hwaks - Tak, claimed reesponsibility.
17/02: Istanbul, Bayrampasa metro station. 5 injured. During rush hour, a pipe bomb exploded on an overpass near a metro station. Extreme left group MLKP claimed responsibility.
10/10: Ankara. 95 killed - 200 injured. Two blasts went off during a rally organised by several leftist groups. No claim. Officials said Daesh was the prime suspect.
10/08: Istanbul, Sultanbeyli. 7 injured. Explosion targeted a police station and caused a fire that spread to nearby buildings. PKK claimed responsibility.
20/07 Suruc. 32 killed - 100 injured. Suicide attack targeted activists planning to entre the Syrian-Kurdish town of Kobane and help rebuild it. the explosion happened during a press event. No claim of responsibility. Blamed on Daesh.
01/06: Diyarbakir. 2 killed. Over 100 injured. Two successive explosions hit an opposition rally.
No claim of responsibility. Blamed on Daesh.
06/01 Istanbul, Sultanahmet. 1 killed - 1 injured. Female suice bomber from Dagestan detonated explosives in the main tourist district of the city. No claim of responsibility.


On 1 July 2016 a Border Police officer shot and killed Sarah Hajuj, 27, from Bani Nai’m, at a checkpoint at the Tomb of the Patriarchs. The Israel Police said she had tried to stab a policewoman. Footage captured by a Palestinian passerby and B’Tselem’s inquiry indicate the lethal shooting was unjustified: Hajuj - whose face had been pepper-sprayed - was alone in the room and armed policemen were at the door. É claro que todo assassinato é condenável.
Porém, só em 2016, colonos israelenses e soldados da IDF que ocupam a Cisjordânia e a Faixa de Gaza mataram, diretamente, 16 meninos palestinos. Em casa, na rua de sua cidade, em sua terra milenar. Em suma, dentro das fronteiras palestinas - não as da Palestina histórica, mas as de 1967 - reconhecidas internacionalmente.
Estes dezesseis meninos e menias foram assassinados só no primeiro semestre deste ano que está na metade - ou seja, do dia 1° de janeiro ao dia 03 de julho de 2016.
Um menininho que saiu pra nadar com os amiguinhos foi assassinado "por acaso" há poucos dias. Foi notícia? Só na mídia alternativa. No resto, não, é claro, pois morte de palestino já foi banalizada. Palestino não é gente, é animal a ser exterminado.
Notícia é quando, em ato de desespero por causa da ocupação israelense cruel e inclemente, um palestino mata uma coloninha cuja família rouba a terra do desesperado e o espezinha dia a dia.
Notícia também pela raridade do fato. Mas isto a grande mídia deixa de fora das manchetes porque tem de alimentar a hasbara israelense ou dobrar-se à pressão do patrão sionista que insiste em que os israelenses sejam eternas vítimas.
Propaganda é a alma do negócio. Hitler sabia disso. Netanyahu, melhor ainda. Dê uma olhada nas estatísticas do link em azul e veja o absurdo .

Para cada criança palestina morta desde o ano 2000, 18.8 crianças palestinas foram assassinadas por colonos judeus ou pelas forças armadas israelense de ocupação.
E não se há de esquecer que é Israel que infringe as leis internacionais ocupando a Palestina e subjugando os palestinos. Não o contrário.
